Conference on Poverty and Terrorism
Washington DC, October 1, 2004

The conference was held jointly with the Atlas Economic Research Foundation and focused on the growing debate on the relationship between poverty and terrorism. Is poverty a root cause of terrorism or do other factors play the decisive role? The conference discussed the empirical evidence on both sides of the debate.
